The Spamhaus Block List (SBL) is a list used for IPs that were found sending spam, snowshoe spamming, or possibly bulletproof hosting.

Impacts

This listing occurs on the IP level. Delivery will more than likely be rejected and can also cause deliverability issues.

Mitigation Process

To better understand the potential problems that caused the listing, review the Spamhaus SBL website. Once you have reviewed, you should then:

1. Find and correct the root cause of the listing.
2. Contact our Support Team and provide details on the root cause and what was done to resolve it. We will then start the removal request.

Important: The issue must be resolved prior to contacting support. Being honest and transparent will get you to a solution faster. Spamhaus is straightforward on what they want to know. If Spamhaus detects that a problem is ongoing, they will not remove the block.
