Blocklist Monitoring(Beta)

Introduction

Blocklist Monitoring allows you to automatically monitor your Dedicated IP and domains. If your IP or domain is listed on any monitored blocklist, you will receive an email notification so you can take action before it affects your email deliverability.

There are hundreds of blocklists on the market, but not all of them matter. Many blocklists will accept payments to remove your IPs from their lists. Never pay a blocklist provider to remove your IP from their blocklist. Any blocklist provider who accepts these payments will not impact your deliverability.

Our blocklist monitoring service monitors only high impact, reputable blocklists.

Navigation

To navigate to the Blocklist Monitoring page:

  1. Go to Optimize in the main navigation menu, then select Blocklist Monitoring from the submenu.
  2. The page contains two tabs: IP Monitoring and Domain Monitoring.
  3. Use the tabs to switch between monitoring views for your IPs and domains.

Email Notifications

To receive notifications when a listing is detected:

  1. Click the bell icon in the top-right corner of the Blocklist Monitoring page.
  2. Toggle Email Notification on.
  3. Enter the email address where you'd like to receive alerts.
  4. You will receive an email notification whenever any of your monitored IPs or domains is newly listed on a blocklist.

What to Do If You're Blocklisted

If you find yourself with a blocklisted IP or domain:

  1. Click the "Help Center" link on the detail page for the specific blocklist that listed you.
  2. Review the guide for that blocklist provider.
  3. Identify and resolve the root cause — check for compromised systems, open relays, or unauthorized email sending.
  4. Request delisting only after you have resolved the underlying issue. Requesting delisting before fixing the problem could significantly complicate the process and may result in relisting.
⚠️

Important: Do not pay any blocklist provider to remove your listing. Legitimate blocklists do not charge for delisting.

Removing a Monitored Target

To remove an IP or domain from monitoring:

  1. Click the "Remove" button next to the target in the monitoring table.
  2. A confirmation dialog will appear.
  3. Click "Remove" to confirm. This action cannot be undone.

How It Works

  • Automatic Checks: The system automatically checks all monitored IPs and domains against the blocklists on a daily basis.
  • Instant Check: When you first add an IP or domain, an immediate check is performed.
  • Status Updates: The monitoring table and detail page are updated automatically after each check.
  • Notifications: Email alerts are sent whenever a new listing is detected.
